Following successful events in Berlin (in 2025), Vienna (in 2022 and 2024) and Winterthur (in 2023), HTW Berlin is proud to host the fifth edition of the international event series “Frontiers in DeFi”.
This event brings together researchers from finance, economics, computer science, law, practitioners, policymakers, and innovators to discuss the latest developments and critical challenges in Decentralized Finance (DeFi). This interdisciplinary workshop seeks to unite researchers with a shared interest in decentralized finance. It will serve as a platform to discuss the opportunities, challenges and risks associated with DeFi, aiming to identify urgent research questions, encourage academic collaboration and lay the groundwork for future joint initiatives.
